The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious stages in the Formula 1 World Championship. At the same time, the athletes note that this route is one of the most difficult. The total length of the route is 260 km.
History of the Monaco Grand Prix
From 1929 to 1948, motor racing was held as an independent sporting event and it was not until 1950 that the first Grand Prix took place as a Formula 1 race.
The Monaco circuit is the shortest, narrowest and slowest, while also being the most dangerous. Keep in mind that the circuit itself runs through the city streets which is a great attraction for spectators as they are in the epicenter of the event.
An interesting fact is that F1 racing teams design and build their cars themselves.
