The VTB United League is a popular annual basketball tournament that brings together clubs from Eastern and Northern Europe. Its main sponsor is VTB Bank.
The 2025/2026 VTB United League season starts in September and promises to be one of the most exciting in recent years. Traditionally, the year will open with the Super Cup – from September 22 to 24 in Belgrade, followed by the regular championship – it will begin on October 1 and end on April 22. The teams will play according to the classic double-round system: each club will play matches at home and away against all opponents.
In parallel with the regular championship, the Intra-Season Cup will be played – the tournament will be held from October 7 to March 26, and its denouement – the Final Four – will take place from April 10 to 12, 2026. A special place in the calendar will be occupied by the All-Star Game, which is scheduled for February 15 and will bring together the best players of the league.
After the first stage, the teams will be divided into two groups: the six strongest will continue the fight in Group A, the rest will go to Group B. The season will end with the playoffs, which will begin on April 25 and last until June 20, 2026 – that is when the new champion of the United League will be determined.
