About the VTB United League

The VTB United League is a popular annual basketball tournament that brings together clubs from Eastern and Northern Europe. Its main sponsor is VTB Bank.

2022-23 VTB United League Championship

It is the 14th tournament in the VTB United League among professional basketball teams in Eastern Europe, in which 12 teams will participate. This basketball tournament will be held from 2 October 2022 to June 2023.

The first round will run until 20 January 2023. The teams will compete against each other in a two-round system and will play at home and on the rival’s ground.

At the end of the first round, the top six teams will play in Group A of the second round; the six worst teams will play in Group B of the second round.

  • Lokomotiv Kuban (Krasnodar);

  • Samara (Samara);
  • Avtodor (Saratov);
  • Yenisei (Krasnoyarsk);
  • Astana (Kazakhstan);
  • Minsk (Belarus).
