About the World Table Tennis Series
The International Table Tennis Tournament (WTT) is an annual series of international table tennis tournaments. The tour includes competitions in several categories:
- men’s, women’s singles;
- men’s, women’s doubles;
- mixed doubles;
- boys’ and girls’ singles, up to 19 years, 17 years, 15 years, 13 years, 11 years;
- boys’ and girls’ doubles, under 19, under 17, under 15;
- Under-19 mixed doubles.
2025 WTT Series
The 2025 international series of table tennis tournaments promises to be packed with excitement and top-tier competition. Throughout the season, fans will witness dozens of high-level matches featuring the world’s best players. Events will take place across the globe — from Europe to Asia — as part of the official World Table Tennis (WTT) calendar.
When and where will the 2025 international table tennis tournaments take place?
The main season will kick off in February 2025 and run through the end of autumn. Traditionally, the tournaments are split into several tiers:

WTT Grand Smash – the most prestigious events of the year

WTT Champions – elite-level competitions for top players

WTT Star Contender and Contender – platforms for rising stars and promising athletes
Among the host cities expected for 2025 are Singapore, Chengdu, Budapest, Doha, and Düsseldorf. Exact dates and venues will be released on the official WTT website, but some of the schedule is already available — stay tuned so you don’t miss any of the major events.
Participants and favorites: Who will compete for the titles?
The 2025 series will once again bring together the top players from China, Japan, Germany, South Korea, and France. Chinese athletes continue to dominate both men’s and women’s singles and are considered the frontrunners.
