UEFA Nations League

It was created to replace unofficial friendlies with more competitive matches between national teams. The Nations League has become an important part of the international tournament calendar. 2024-25 UEFA Nations League season

The 2024-25 UEFA Nations League season promises to be exciting and intense, with all of Europe’s top teams taking part. The tournament will kick off on September 5, 2024 and run until June 2025. Teams will compete in four leagues – A, B, C, D – divided by team level. The top teams will compete in the A League, which will determine the winner of the tournament. In addition, the season is also of great importance as the competition will be included in the European qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The first edition was won by Portugal, who beat the Netherlands 1-0 in the final in Porto. The tournament quickly gained popularity.
