The eight strongest teams in the region will take to the field, including:

- Uganda
- Tanzania
- Malawi
- Kenya
- Nigeria
- Zimbabwe (host country)
- Another national team that made it through the C-Series qualifiers.
Notably, Namibia and Uganda received automatic entry into the final stage owing to their involvement in the 2024 World Cup. Other teams advanced via regional stages conducted in Tanzania, Kenya, and Nigeria.
Ultimately, the top two finishers will earn berths in the T20 World Cup 2026 alongside South Africa, who has already secured their spot based on their performance in the previous season.
