In 2026, the HSBC BWF World Tour will follow its usual format, featuring tournaments in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania. The season will begin in January and run through December, with the year’s top players meeting at the final tournament. Throughout the year, athletes will accumulate ranking points and compete for a place in the final tournament.

The 2026 BWF World Tour calendar includes more than 30 tournaments at various levels, from the Super 100 to the most prestigious Super 1000 events. The season will open in January with the Malaysia Open, and competitions will take place in countries including Indonesia, India, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, Australia, and Canada.
The season will conclude with the BWF World Tour Finals, which will take place from December 9 to 13, 2026, in Hangzhou, China. This is where the world’s best badminton players, who have shown the most consistent results throughout the year, will gather.
