About the Men’s Volleyball Nations League
The FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League is an international volleyball tournament held among national men’s volleyball teams every year since 2017. The tournament is managed by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Sixteen men’s teams take part in the competition. There is a similar sporting event for women and it is called the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League.

2023 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League
The 5th edition of the Men’s Volleyball Nations League takes place from 6 June to 23 July. 8 of the 16 teams will advance to the final round and play-offs to determine the winner of the tournament. The finals will be played in several host cities in Poland.
Main teams: Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Iran, Italy, Poland, Serbia, USA, France, Japan
Contestant teams: Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cuba, Netherlands, Slovenia.
The top team among the contenders will get the chance to compete in the 2024 Nations League.
Many note that the teams of Italy, Poland and France are the main contenders to win the current tournament.
History of the Men’s Volleyball Nations League
The creation of a new volleyball tournament was announced by the International Volleyball Federation in 2017. The Men’s Volleyball Nations League came to replace the Men’s World League.
Team Russia won the first and second seasons of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League.

2024 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League
