The tournament will feature 16 national teams, including the recognized leaders of European baseball:
- The Netherlands is a multiple champion and one of the main favorites,
- Italy is a traditionally strong team with good statistics on the European stage,

- Germany is the tournament hosts, striving to improve their positions,
- The Czech Republic, Israel, Great Britain, France are stable participants with ambitions for the playoffs.

History of the European Baseball Championship
The greatest popularity of this sport is in the countries of Asia, Latin America and the United States. Interestingly, after 1900, the game of baseball spread maximally. This period is usually called the “golden era” of baseball. The first European basebаll championship was held in 1954. Throughout the history of the tournament, 34 championships were held.
