Publication date: 16 May 2025

The CONCACAF Gold Cup is the premier international football tournament for national teams from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Not only is this event important on a sporting level, but it also has considerable commercial significance. It attracts millions of fans worldwide and is integral to betting activities.

Additionally, the tournament takes place every two years under the auspices of CONCACAF (the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Football). National teams from CONCACAF member countries compete in the tournament. Sometimes, invited teams from other confederations participate when appropriate. Typically, the tournament comprises 16 qualified teams.

Furthermore, the format involves dividing teams into groups at first. After the group stage, teams progress to the playoff rounds. The one-month-long championship incorporates several stages: a group stage, quarterfinals, semifinals, and finally, the grand final.
