About the Pro Bowl American football
The Pro Bowl (All-Star Match, AFC–NFC Pro Bowl) is the National Football League (NFL) all-star exhibition competition in American football. Pro Bowl matches are held annually at the end of the NFL season, before the Super Bowl. The All-Star Game is a match between a team made up of the best players in the American Football Conference (AFC) and a team with the best players in the National Football Conference (NFC).
2023 Pro Bowl
It is already known that the 2023 Pro Bowl match will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA on 5 February. In 2022, this stadium has also hosted an all-star American football competition. The 2022 Pro Bowl was an incredible success, therefore the organizers decided to hold the match in Las Vegas again.
History of Pro Bowl matches
The first All-Star Match was held in 1938 in Los Angeles. Until 1980, matches were held in different stadiums.
From 1981-2010, the final game of the season had a permanent venue, Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Until 1995, players were elected to the AFC–NFC Pro Bowl by the coaches and players. After a while, fans got involved in the voting, who made their choice by voting on a website. This way of selecting players received a lot of criticism for the fact that players from smaller sports clubs were discriminated against in a certain way.
Many people consider the reputation of the All-Star Match to be controversial. This is due to the fact that the players have only one objective: to avoid injuries and damage during the game. Therefore, there is not the kind of fight and spectacle at the matches that spectators would like to see. This is how the Associated Press described the 2012 game: “The players fought each other as hard as if they were having a pillow fight”.

2024 Pro Bowl match
It is known that the 2024 Pro Bowl All-Star Game will take place on February 4th. The match will take place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
