Legal bookmakers in Russia are raising the audience

In February 2021, the traffic of legal betting operators grew by 4% in Russia.  

The Best Bookmaker of Russia Rating, February 2021:   

• SimilarWeb, the analytical platform, informs that February audience number one is GG.bet which showed the highest increase rate. 225.8 thousand bettors visited the GG.bet website last month, which is 19.2 % growth if compared to January.
• BC Melbet and Marathon.Bet also raised traffic bandwidth – by 14.3% and 12.7%.
• The most popular website is Fonbet. The bookmaker has 7.3 million visitors in a month, which, however, is a 1% decline compared to January.
• The second rank position, by a significant margin, though, is occupied by Winline. Their web services were used by 4.08m bettors (4% grow).

Not all the brands demonstrate positive dynamic changes. Well-known operators lost 10-15 % users within a month, at the same time suffering from the risen financial burden imposed by the state. BC Mostbet lost 59% of traffic and the final number of players was 51.7 thousand. The BC Olimp lost 16.5% of the traffic bandwidth, Bettery and Betroom – 14.6 % each. Parimatch, despite the energetic marketing campaign and regular exclusive offers, is in this list too. Only 1.35 million bettors used their website in February, which is 10.6% less than in January.    

BC Bwin serviced 129.6 thousand bettors. Just two weeks before being officially suspended in the Russian Federation, the company got 25% less user traffic than within four weeks in January.  

For your consideration, in January the legal bookmakers` traffic was as large as 31.02 million users in Russia. In February, the user audience grew by 1.2 million.
