Ad action button in VKontakte app
With a new button, which is available only in VK mobile app for Android and iOS, users do not need to scroll back to the top of an ad if they want to visit a business’s website.
A client will see the button, if he or she chooses to visit a business’s page in the app by tapping on either the community’s avatar or its name. The button is available for the following ad formats: “Text with a button”, “Ads in Stories”, and “Collection of requests”. The ad itself has to contain a link to an external site or to a request collection form. The special buttons are expected to boost conversion rate and will allow a more accurate ad performance analysis.
New ad network by Snap
Snap, which owns Snapchat, has introduced its own advertising network. Snap Audience Network will allow Snap to sell ads that will appear inside other companies’ apps.
Moreover, Snap has offered developers to integrate its feature of disappearing photo and video Stories into their own apps. For example, Tinder can launch Stories in its apps without developing the feature on its own. Users will connect their Snapchat account to Tinder app and start posting their Snapchat Stories there.
