Mediascope media research company has listed ten largest clients who were placing orders for video advertising on the Runet in 2019. What is special about 2019 ranking is the fact that among the top ten clients are only legal advertisers.
Top 10 advertisers of 2019 in the online video segment
The number of ad impressions (inclusive of self-promotion) per 100 citizens aged 12 to 64 from big cities; desktop ad impressions only.
1. PepsiCo, 2. Yandex, 3. Megafon, 4. Google, 5. Danone, 6. 1xStavka, 7. 3M, 8. KEH eCommerce, 9. Nestle, 10. M.video.
1xStavka bookmaker was ranked sixth. The company’s website looks similar to mirror sites of 1XBET bookmaker which is on Russia’s blocklist. Unlike 1XBET, 1xStavka operates in Russia legally. The majority owner of 1xStavka is unknown: 12% is owned by Dmitry Kazorin according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, 87.9% belongs to Ehrilch Ltd., a Cypriot company the ultimate beneficiary of which remains hidden.
In 2018, Azino777 underground casino was ranked No.1 among the top 10 advertisers in the online video segment, but in 2019 Azino777, as well as 1XBET, lost its status of the largest client who places orders for video advertising on the Runet.
