PGL Major Copenhagen 2024

• Date: 17.03 – 31.03.2024;
• Location: Copenhagen, Denmark;
• Prize Pool: $1.25 million.

Notable for being the first Major series tournament in Counter-Strike 2. It is hosted by Romanian operator PGL. The event is scheduled to take place from 17 to 31 March in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The number of announced teams is 24, while the prize fund will amount to $1.25 million. This tournament will be the fourth major for PGL. Previously, the organization held majors in Kraków, Stockholm and Antwerp.

• Date: 23.04 – 12.05.2024;
• Location: St Julian’s, Malta;
• Prize Fund: $750,000.

The venue for the main stage of the event will be the InterContinental Hotel in St Julian’s, Malta. Within the framework of the 19th season 32 teams will play a prize fund of 750 thousand dollars. The dates of the tournament are from 23 April to 12 May 2024. The next tournament in the series is EPL S20 to be held at the same location and with the same prize pool from 3 to 22 September.

The 24 best CS2 teams in the world will meet again in August for the next Intel Extreme Masters Series tournament. The playoff stage will be held at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany. The prize pool will be $1 million.

BLAST Premier World Final 2024

• Date: 13.11 – 17.11.2024;
• Place: Abu Dhabi, UAE;
• Prize Pool: $1 million.

From 13-17 November, the top 8 teams will battle it out for $1 million in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. The 2023 BLAST Series winner was Team Vitality, defeating GamerLegion 2-0 in the finals.

Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024

• Date: 26.10 – 13.11.2024;
• Location: Shanghai, PRC;
• Prize Pool: $1.25 million.

The first major held in China, the second major in the CS2 discipline. Organized by the Perfect World tournament operator. The Shanghai event will feature a $1.25 million prize pool. RMR-tournaments will be held from 26 October to 13 November. The major itself will take place from 1 to 15 December.

Dota 2 top esports events 2024

BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024

• Date: 05.02 – 16.02.2024;
• Location: Dubai, UAE;
• Prize Pool: $1 million.

A major Dota 2 tournament from international tournament operator FISSURE and BetBoom Esports. They will also cover the tournament for the Russian-speaking audience on Twitch. The tournament will be played in Dubai from 5 to 16 February 2024. The event is open to six teams with direct invitations and six teams that won the qualifiers. The participants will play against each other for $1 million.

The dates are from 22 to 28 April. The top 12 teams will meet in the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, UK. This year’s prize pool is $1 million. The champions of the last event in Kuala Lumpur is Azure Ray. 

DreamLeague Season 23 

• Date: 20.05 – 26.05.2024;
• Location: online;
• Prize Pool: $1 million.

Another tournament from the ESL organiser. It will be held from 20 to 26 May in online format. The amount of prize money will be $1 million. At the moment, the winner of the last DreamLeague Season 21 Cup is Team Spirit.

The International 13

The International 2024 is expected to happen in August.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 

Top 1 upcoming PUBG Mobile tournament, the largest tournament in terms of prize pool size. It will start near the end of the year, in November. The preliminary venue is the United Kingdom. Recall that the winner of the last championship was a Mongolian team IHC ESPORTS.

World Championship 2024

The fourteenth in a series of annual final tournaments on League of Legends. The 2024 tournament will bring together the best teams from all the major official Riot Games leagues to compete for the title of the best team on the planet. Event time will be Autumn 2024, with prize money to be announced at a later date.

Games Of The Future 2024

• By decree of 19 December 2022, the Games Of The Future was officially designated as an international multi-sport tournament.

It is a multi-sport tournament organized by the Russian VFFS Association. The event is dedicated to the fijital movement (from the words physical and digital – combining physical reality and digital environment) and mass sports in the format of digital multi-sports. Youtuber Vlad A4, football player Artem Dzyuba and artist Egor Kreed have already become ambassadors of the event. Among the participants are LGD, Xtreme Gaming and Azure Ray esports teams. According to the Games Of The Future website, the total prize fund in all disciplines will be $10 million. The event will be held in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan.
