What from your childhood can help in an iGaming career? How do you find a balance between systematics and freedom? What sets a strong leader apart from a merely successful one? Today’s guest on 3S.INFO IGaming Heroes is Vladislav Artemiev! He’s the co-founder of Scorum (a sports blockchain platform for fans worldwide), ZingBrain AI (a service for personalization and gambling/betting recommendations), and the developer of Aviatrix (online games). Get ready to meet him, read his story and jot down some brilliant insights!
– Vladislav, what was your childhood like? What shaped you into the entrepreneur who today creates products and companies Where do you draw inspiration from? How would you describe your journey in just a few phrases?
My childhood was quite ordinary, but I spent a lot of time observing and analyzing things even as a young child. This probably laid the foundation for my current way of thinking and working.
It depends on the situation. There’s no universal rule.
The iGaming industry evolves at a breakneck pace, and you must be ready to adapt. In recent years, we have successfully launched two major projects — Aviatrix and ZingBrain AI. This was largely possible due to our accumulated experience, our ability to pivot quickly, and a knack for applying ideas from other sectors, particularly from gaming. It is the cross-pollination of best practices and the constant re-evaluation of the status quo that have been the primary drivers of this success.
– Crash games first emerged back in 2014, but they are only now becoming a genuine boom. Aviatrix was one of the first to integrate NFT assets and an in-game economy. How is something so innovative born? Is it chance, intuition, or a systematic trend analysis?

When we implemented that, NFTs were at the peak of interest. The audience was looking for something new, and the crash game market was just beginning to gain momentum. We simply identified the intersection of these trends. Yes, analytics matter too, but sometimes relying on intuition is also necessary.
Both are fundamentally important.
– When you launch a product, do the ideas come from you or from the team? How do you find people who are capable of not just executing tasks, but also thinking critically and debating ideas? Do you encounter a “generational gap” within your team?
We have an open culture, and ideas come from everyone — both from within the company and from our partners. It’s crucial that everyone feels empowered to participate in discussions and put forward hypotheses. It’s the only way to create something of real value.
As for generational gaps: frankly, I don’t notice them. Age isn’t really a factor we consider. What’s far more important is one’s ability to think critically, be proactive, and remain flexible.
Excitement. We definitely don’t miss moments.
– Are there any unwritten rules in your team that you’re proud of? What’s more important to you — systematic approach or freedom?
Balance. For example, we have a Wellness Day — every fourth Friday of the month is a day off for the entire team. People appreciate that the company respects their time and personal rhythm. We see that this has a positive impact on overall morale.
– ZingBrain personalizes casino experiences through machine learning. When you talk about ‘AI Thinking,’ is it technology or already a company’s philosophy? How do you decide where algorithms should think and where humans should step in?
Artificial intelligence is integrated into many processes here, yet final decisions are still made by humans. We actively use AI as a tool for deep analytics and decision-making.
At the same time, we have fully automated solutions in place, such as recommendation systems. When you have technology capable of processing data volumes in real-time beyond human capacity, it makes sense to utilize it as an assistant.
The ability to build long-term strategies.
– Scorum was an ambitious project — blockchain, sports, community. Why didn’t it go mainstream? And how do you avoid losing heart when an idea you truly believe in doesn’t take off?
I’ll be direct: the majority of blockchain projects outside of trading and DeFi have not achieved mass adoption. Scorum is among them. That’s the nature of the market. But this is part of the entrepreneurial journey — not every idea is destined to succeed. The most important thing is to learn from the experience and keep moving forward.
More product development work.
– How do you maintain your resilience when you’re constantly creating and launching new things? What helps you avoid burning out?
It’s quite simple: rest and sports. To deliver results at a high pace, you need to recover properly. It’s a matter of discipline, just like everything else in business.
– What do you envision as the next big step for the industry? Where do you think the market will be in five years?
AI will be integrated into almost everything. In five years, most products will be AI-first. Those who fail to adapt simply won’t survive. Overall, the market will grow both in terms of revenue and maturity of solutions.
Revenue surge, customer growth, global expansion.
– What distinguishes a strong leader from a merely successful one? What shaped you as a leader — your own mistakes or the influence of those around you?
Mistakes. My own, others’— it doesn’t matter. I’ve never had “classical” mentors. There was always a desire to figure things out. I still read case studies and analyze how companies in other industries are structured. Learning opportunities exist everywhere. The key is knowing how to extract lessons. A strong leader is someone who can guide others, especially in times of uncertainty. They provide support, assume responsibility, and aren’t afraid to make unpopular decisions.
– If you had to formulate three rules that guide your business and life, what would they be?
- Strategy comes before tactics
- Teamwork is everything
- It’s vital to enjoy the process
The main thing is that everything should bring pleasure. If something goes terribly wrong, either change it or shut it down.
