CBDO of Wild Wild Leads Yaroslava: "Every Detail Matters in Business"

Publication date: 30 September 2025

How to thrive in an unfamiliar industry and climb from customer support to business development director in just 3 years? Who never makes mistakes, how to find balance between work and rest, and why it’s important to ask “silly questions”? Today on 3S.INFO’s IGaming Heroes section, meet Yaroslava, chief business development officer at media buying agency Wild Wild Leads! Join us for inspiration!

– Why did you decide to tie your professional life with iGaming back then? What initially caught your attention in this industry that made you say “yes” to it?

To be honest, when I first entered iGaming, I knew almost nothing about it. It was pure adventure – trying myself out in a new field, stepping outside my comfort zone. But very quickly, what hooked me was its dynamism: the speed of change, the vibrant market, constant challenges, and endless opportunities for growth. There’s no room for boredom here – and that’s probably the key point that made me stay and say “yes” to the industry.

How do you maintain a work-life balance?

“If you don’t set boundaries yourself, nobody will do it for you.”

– What is your main rule or principle in business and team management?

For me, the main principle is openness and respect. I believe that every detail matters in business, and every person in the team should feel their value.
I try not to create distance between myself and the team: we can discuss ideas, mistakes, successes – everything. Transparency in communication and trust create the foundation of a strong team.

– Let’s talk about the team right away! Tell us about Wild Wild Leads! What’s your main feature and why choose you?

We offer the best terms for buying traffic, provide a personalized approach, have full infrastructure, numerous offers, and give individual attention to each buyer regarding GEO targeting. Our team is always ready to support and assist whenever needed. With us, you’ll have the chance to fully realize your potential and scale massively. That’s why you should choose us! That’s the short version 😉

– What do you consider as the main indicator of project success or your personal effectiveness as a leader?

If people in the team grow, take on more responsibility, offer solutions instead of waiting for instructions — that’s success.

From a business perspective, success for me isn’t measured solely by numbers but also by how quickly we adapt to changes and how aligned our team is with the company’s goals.

With which type of person would you definitely refuse to work?

“With someone who shifts blame and looks for scapegoats instead of finding solutions.”

 – What’s your greatest achievement in iGaming? Why is it particularly significant to you?

My biggest win has been going from customer support to CBDO in just three years. This wasn’t merely a career advancement — it was a transformation of mindset, approach, and scale of responsibilities. I’ve learned to see the entire business picture, build strategies, attract and retain partners, influence products, shape teams.

It’s crucial because behind this lies not luck, but daily effort and trust from those who were alongside me throughout the journey.

– What was the most valuable opportunity or insight (advice) you’ve received specifically through personal connections rather than official channels?

Only fools don’t make mistakes. The biggest mistake would be thinking I’m infallible 🙂 Everyone makes errors. The key is recognizing them promptly and learning from them.

What’s the most common myth about working in iGaming?

“That it’s easy, fun and all about casinos. In reality, it’s a highly competitive business full of stress and pace where not everyone survives.”

– If you had to start your career from scratch today, knowing all about the current state of iGaming, what would you do differently?

Probably, I’d have started earlier to think like an entrepreneur, not just as a good executor.
Now I understand that it’s essential not only to perform your part well but also to see how your actions impact the product, users, revenue and brand.

And one more thing — I wouldn’t hesitate to ask “silly” questions. Often, these lead to important insights and quick decisions.
