Yandex has updated the design of advertisements
Now advertisements look like wide plates, and the page itself became adaptive: if you change the screen size, the ads teasers jump.
Yandex. Metrics team rolled out another update. The company launched a revised version of the Long Term Interests report. Now it is possible to analyze the behavior of visitors to a web resource, based on their interests more accurately via this report.
VKontakte launched a podcast platform and targeting to the community active visitors
Podcasts are audioblogs and programs that user can listen at any time. Recent episodes of the show can be found in a special podcast feed. Separate section “Podcasts” has appeared in publics that have already joined the platform.
VC team is planning to roll out a number of tools for monetizing podcasts in the near future. Currently, thanks to a wide audience of the social network and complete statistics, advertisers can be interested, so podcasts can be monetized using native advertising.
VKontakte also launched a new type of targeting called “Activity in communities”. With it, you can target ads to those users who have recently joined the group or, for example, commented on the wall.
Innovation can be used in different ways. For example, to advertise discounts to loyal subscribers of the page.
The social networks report that advertisers who have already managed to test the new targeting, noted anincrease in conversion and CTR of almost 2 times, and this is at the same cost of promotion.
Let us remind that earlier VK launched new features for customizing targeting. Now the actual number of active users that fit the specified parameters will be displayed.
